Also! Some freaking awesome news! I will be teaching English at a Kindergarten here in Konstanz. I will corrupt their little minds with as much American slang as I know. No, but seriously, it's going to be awesome. I'm going to be like Jack Black in School of Rock only cooler. I have attended a few classes already to observe other teachers. The little kids are so cool and I can't wait to get my own little group of hoodlums.
There seems to be a drought of white bread here in Konstanz, by the by. I went to four supermarkets today and not a single slice of delicious white bread was too be found. I was distraught because, at the time, I could have really gone for a PB&J sandwich. I was on a mission to find white bread, but after being denied a fourth time I packed up my bags and headed back home. Luckily, I had two slices of bread back at my apartment. In a fit of dismayed confusion I had forgotten that I had two slices tucked safely away in my pantry. Thank goodness. The PB&J really hit the spot too. Oh, and speaking of which, Peanut butter and Jelly is spreading like wild fire throughout Europahaus. Between me and the other Americans insisting that everyone try it, it really has built up some popularity. It's an underrated sandwich, that's what I always say.
Well there is not much else to say. Things are pretty dull around Konstanz these days. I really have to start hanging out with more Germans though. My German is certainly better, but it will not be as good as I want it to be if I keep hanging with English speakers all the time. Here's a picture for the sake of a picture! Till later.
Kristen and I thought this would make for a nice Nike advertisement.
Konstanz at night. Looks cold doesn't it?
